BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is a growing trend that encourages staff to bring their own personal devices into MIT for easy and secure access to all applications, desktops, and data. Staff can access the full MIT desktop through their own personal laptop or another device (such as smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs), no matter where they are geographically located, as long as they have internet connectivity. You can easily access and write to all your files in H or Y drive moreover be able to use certain applications that are normally present on campus computers.
