This guide will show you how to enable the Maori language keyboard on your Mac Os X computer.
Adding Maori Keyboard
- To get started click on System Preferences > Language & Region
2. Select “+”. A pop up box will display. Search for Maori in the list and click Add. A message will display to confirm if you wish to make it your Primary Language. You can select English as primary and Maori keyboard as default secondary option. Close and exit from System Preferences.
Enable Maori Keyboard
In the top right hand corner of the screen select the Maori option or switch between language keyboards. If you need a Maori language keyboard, tick Maori.
To include Macrons on vowels press “~” on your keyboard at the same time you key a vowel letter.
