{"id":378,"date":"2016-04-26T21:46:41","date_gmt":"2016-04-26T21:46:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/icts.manukau.ac.nz\/?page_id=378"},"modified":"2016-05-18T03:50:30","modified_gmt":"2016-05-18T03:50:30","slug":"mit-wide-citrix","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/techservices.manukau.ac.nz\/index.php\/strategy\/mit-wide-citrix\/","title":{"rendered":"MIT Wide Citrix"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citrix.com\/products\/xendesktop\/overview.html\" target=\"_blank\">Citrix<\/a> is now in use at the Manukau campus (for students) and has started to be deployed to the Otara North campus for staff and students.<\/p>\n<p>ICTS intends to make Citrix accessible at all MIT locations and will be the default service offering for staff unless a justification can be made for a desktop (specialised computing requirements) or a laptop (mobility requirements).<\/p>\n<p>The wider deployment of Citrix is dependent on the <a href=\"https:\/\/techservices.manukau.ac.nz\/?page_id=1639\" target=\"_blank\">MIT Network Upgrade<\/a>, so work is not planned to start until August 2016 at the earliest.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to that, ICTS will be upgrading the Citrix environment at Manukau.
