Microsoft Teams meetings are best when you join them from the Teams app or Teams on the web. If you can’t use the app or the web, some meetings let you call in using a phone number.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join<\/strong> Teams<\/strong> meeting <\/strong>from Canvas<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The tutor\u2019s\/ lecturers will create a Teams invitation link similar to the one below: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After you clicked on the link you will be directed to another page where you will see 2 options to join your Teams meeting: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1-<\/strong> <\/strong>Continue on<\/strong> this browser:<\/strong> <\/strong>you can choose this option if you don\u2019t have the Teams app installed on your device.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You need to Type in your name then click on Join now<\/strong>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2- <\/strong>Open your Teams app:<\/strong> You can use this option if you have Teams app installed on your PC or mobile phone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose the audio and video settings you want then select \u202fJoin\u202fnow<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> Depending on\u202fmeeting\u202fsettings, you'll get in right away, or go to a lobby where someone in the\u202fmeeting\u202fcan admit you. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Join <\/strong>Teams<\/strong> meeting from <\/strong>Teams <\/strong>calendar<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n
1.  Open Teams app or if you don\u2019t have it installed go to teams.office.com<\/a> then click on use the web app instead<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.  Select\u202f Calendar\u202f<\/strong> icon on the left side of the app to see your meetings. Find the meeting you want, and then select\u202fJoin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re unable to use the Teams app or Teams on the web, you can join some meetings by calling a phone number.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If there’s a phone number and conference ID in the meeting invite, just dial the number to join. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
