Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Windows \u00a0OS
\n– Ability to create manual network profile
\n– The user has a valid user credentials in Manukau AD<\/p>\n

1. Open Network and Sharing Center<\/strong>
\n2. Select Manage Wireless networks<\/strong><\/p>\n

3.Under Manage Wireless networks,<\/strong> select Add<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"2\"<\/p>\n

4.Under Manually connect to a wireless network,<\/strong> select Manually create a network profile<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"3\"<\/p>\n

5.Enter information for the wireless network you want to add as follows, then click Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6.Under Manually connect to a wireless network,<\/strong> select Change connection settings<\/strong><\/p>\n

7.Under \u2018MIT-Wireless\u2019 Wireless Network Properties,<\/strong> select Security<\/strong> tab<\/p>\n

8.Under the Security<\/strong> tab, select Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"8\"<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> Untick from Validate server certificate.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10.Still under Protected EAP Properties\\ Select Authentication Method:<\/strong> Click Configure<\/strong> and clear the tick box and click OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

11. Click OK<\/strong> to exit Protected EAP Properties<\/strong> window
\n12. Still under \u2018MIT-Wireless\u2019<\/strong> Wireless Network Properties \\ Advanced settings<\/strong><\/p>\n

13.Under Advanced settings<\/strong> window, \u2018tick\u2019 Specify authentication mode<\/strong>: select User Authentication<\/strong><\/p>\n

14.Still under Advanced settings<\/strong> window, select Save credentials<\/strong> and enter the valid user credentials, then click OK<\/strong><\/p>\n

15.Attempt to connect to MIT-Wireless<\/strong> and then on Windows Security Alert<\/strong> pop-up window click Connect<\/strong><\/p>\n
