As a staff member at MIT\u00a0you are eligible to participate in Microsoft’s Software Assurance Home Use Program (HUP).<\/p>\n

This program allows you\u00a0to get a licensed copy of most Microsoft\u00ae Office desktop PC (and Mac OS X) applications to install and use\u00a0on your personal home computer (not an MIT supplied computer) at a very small cost.<\/p>\n

Under the Home Use Program, you may acquire a licensed copy of the corresponding Home Use Program software to install and use on your personal computer.<\/p>\n

You may continue to use HUP software as long as\u00a0you are employed at\u00a0MIT, and as long as the corresponding software you use at work has active\u00a0Software Assurance coverage.<\/p>\n

Please note that some product and language versions may not be available at the time you place an order.<\/p>\n

To access the Microsoft Home Use Program website:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to\u00a0http:\/\/hup.microsoft.com\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2. \u00a0Select the country (New Zealand) that\u00a0your order is to be shipped to and choose the correct language\u00a0setting.<\/p>\n

Enter your full MIT email address (firstname.lastname@manukau.ac.nz<\/a>) and insert the following program code: CE301DE99F<\/strong> (NB<\/em>: This program code is uniquely assigned to Manukau Institute of Technology for access to this site. It is not permitted to share\u00a0this program code\u00a0with anyone outside the organization.)<\/p>\n

    4. An email will then be sent to your MIT address.<\/p>\n

    5. Follow the instructions and place your order online (using your personal credit card details), and it will be shipped to your chosen\u00a0location.
