This page will show you how to enable and use the Maori keyboard layout in Citrix.<\/p>\n

Add Maori Keyboard<\/p>\n

  1. To get started click on the Windows Start<\/strong> button in the bottom left hand corner of your screen then select Control Panel<\/strong> on the right.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. When the Control Panel has opened, look for Clock, Language and Region.\u00a0<\/strong>Select Change keyboards or other input methods<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Select the Keyboards and Languages<\/strong> tab then choose Change Keyboard.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. On the General<\/strong> tab click on Add <\/strong>under Installed Services<\/u>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. After clicking on Add, the Add<\/strong> Input Language <\/strong>screen will open up. Look for Maori (New Zealand) and click on the plus sign (+) under Keyboard<\/strong> to expand.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            1. Check the box for Maori and click OK <\/strong>when done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                \n
              1. Once the keyboard is added you will see MR<\/strong> Maori (New Zealand) showing in the list. Click OK<\/strong> to finish and exit out from all screens.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Enable Maori Keyboard<\/h4>\n

                Now that the keyboard has been added, an easy way to enable it when you need it, is to select<\/p>\n

                MR Maori (New Zealand<\/strong>) from the Language Bar docked in the Taskbar.<\/p>\n

                NB: If MR is displayed in the Language bar with a tick beside it, this indicates that the Maori keyboard is active.<\/em><\/p>\n

                To include Macrons on vowels in Te Reo Maori, select the button on your keyboard with \u201c~\u201d<\/strong> showing, at the same time as you key a vowel.<\/p>\n
